Anthony
Hi there fellow hunters I was wandering if any of you have heard of, used or know info about Escort Magnum Semi Autos from a company in Turkey apparently. They appear to be around £300 NEW. If not can anyone recomend a reliable semi auto. Thanks Anthony
Buzzer
Anthony, Never heard of that one before? I would steer well clear of that one as me thinks you get what ya pay for. I reckon the Beretta AL319 would be your best bet, ive got a Browning fusion and am having a bit of trouble at the mo, should have brought a 391! all the best Buzzer
reynard895
It all depends on your budget and what you intend to shoot with it. Give us more details. cheers
daviddjlloyd
Stick to a well known brand and you wo`nt go wrong. Anthony
Thanks for the replys I am looking into a gun below £500 What is the cheapest AL391 you have seen second hand I have a 12bore side by side which I have used but I really like the idea of semi autos for pigeons, crows etc The number of times I have could have bagged three with that extra shot. The Sporting Gun video by Jim Albone is what inspired me into semi's, I can't work out what gun he is using however, because its been dipped in cammo. I had looked at the AL391 as my first choice but am considering Benelli etc I think I will forget the Escort Magnum!!!!!
ernyha
Anthony, you should get a good 391 for less than £500 and in fact there is one in this months S/Gun for £475 along with 800 shells. Also there are plenty of 303 models on the market for less than £400 and these are a very reliable auto, a bit heavier though.
NGhost
If you cant run to a benelli get a beretta (they are both barettas realy) you always get good reports from the two.

Cranfield
As I have mentioned in previous posts, Benelli is the choice of US shooting Guides, as they are so reliable. NGhost, I think Benelli is "related" to Franchi, not Beretta.
NGhost
Hi Cranfield, Im not that sure, :*) but have been told that both Franchi and Benelli are owned by Beretta. some parts (ie chokes) of the Benelli are the same as Beretta. (I use Beretta chokes in mine.)
