Any dedicated knowledgable pigeon shooters with access to good ground fancy the possibilaty of swapping 3 days guided goose shooting ( flighting & decoying ) in Orkney for 3 days good pigeon shooting, preferably a mix of decoying/flight line/roost shooting . I am a Bucks born & bred shooter & I miss my days pigeon shooting of years ago , they just dont come here in any numbers . Just pondering on the idea at the moment & could do a similar thing for a muntjack stalk ?????. :hmm: Pole Star ps ok chaps I have a caravan on site but its basic & its if you want! , but remember in winds up here you could have a ROCKY HORROR NIGHT ! & it can be bloody cold ! so it ain't fer whimps! if any one wants a swop then you gotta give me some good shooting , I'm not into huge bags but good shooting on first class grounds is a must . I have some kenneling if you want to bring a dog . OK how many of you are mad ! P.P.S COME ON LADS IS THERE SOME THING WRONG WITH THIS OFFER !!! ??? OR IS IT JUST TOO FAR ??? OR ARE YOU TOO AFRAID & DO YOU NEED MUMMY TOO HOLD YA HAND & CHANGE YA NAPPIES !!!.

I honestly thought you would have your hand bitten off with an offer as good as yours.

I really am surprised.

Funny old world but I know exactly where you are coming from on a different level.

I can find and deal with most things where I shoot, including a lot of deer, but I don't see HARE, I get all excited when I see a Hare and would take that over ANY deer any time, now, how daft would many find that?!

ATB!

Well I like Hares too but I did not mention that in my post ! sure you are replying to the righe one ??? , we get a lot of hares up here but I only take one if I want one . A young chap I take out lamping rabbits just cant understand why I dont shoot em like I do rabbits ! & I dread the day he gets out on his own & I am not alone , I try hard to explain there are limits but I dont think he is listening !. But I do my best  Good Luck Pole Star .

Thats a great offer Pole Star, hope you get sorted :good:

Thanks Davie Mac not to much response yet but will av to wait & see, gees numbers dont start rising till they start comming in from Iceland around the end of September , we have Greylags here all year & there is a dozen or so on my field of new grass & on the first some of them will be ready for the pot !. What are your pigeon numbers like in Armagh ?. I lived in Co wexford for some years & use to get a few there but nothing like we use to get in Bucks , but a chap did shoot about 600 in a day over stubble in Kilkenny some years back , expect you know that !. All the best Pole Star
