Clay shoots in the Bristol / S Gloucs area

Hi guys,

Just moved to the Bristol area and wondering what the best place to shoot clays round here are? I live on the NE edge of Bristol, so anything E or N would be good as crossing the city is a complete pain and there's more to life than sitting in Bristol traffic

I normally shoot ESP and Skeet but frankly will have a go at anything!

Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I'll pop along and try Bristol clay shooting although I see from the local press (and of course google) that they have been having dramas with noise complainers...

Lains Farm near Thruxton ended up having to dig all their cages into holes in the ground after a new local arrival objected to the noise :hmm:

Yes they did have some problems, locals kicked up a bit of a fuss and Stroud council shut the Kingswood ground on noise abatement

It went to court and BCS won, mainly because the sound monitoring was done incorrectly. Stroud council typically appealed but then dropped the appeal at the last minute and accepted an offer BCS made in the first place, which was to take some noise reducing measures. Now that the court case is over with, I believe BCS are looking to invest in the ground (Kingswood), to improve the facilities and possibly introduce a skeet layout.

All good basically :good:
