Guest gloker
Nissan navara, isuzu rodeo or ford ranger?(or any other suggestions) It's to replace an old isuzu rodeo that has been used on father in laws farm to destruction (think top gear hilux) bloody thing still won't die and has just passed another MOT (not sure how) He wants something that he can use as a 'car' aswell as a farm truck. the old one is definitely utility only. Would make a good shooting truck but I think he is planning on chopping it in against the new one. Thanks G

Guest gloker
The current rodeo has been bumped front and rear (it's about ten inches shorter now! ) clutch is slipping and it needs mucking out! Still starts first time and pulls like a tractor. He is knocking on and doing less on the farm but still 'potters' so wants something similar but a bit more 'refined' I thought navara for the 2wd/4wd thing, he has been looking at newer rodeos and has seen a ranger that he likes? pontbeck
Hilux is the best but I`ve a Ford Ranger and I bought it for 2/3`s the price of a Navara or Hilux. Had it for 3 years, no probs ,leather aircon etc, been more than pleased. Bill

paulf
Hilux or another rodeo would be my choice.
triumphant59
I've had a rodeo and farm I used to manage had 4 Rangers, and if I'm really honest the most reliable and best value for money are the Rangers by a mile. Wouldn't touch a Nissan, engines are weak.
Gutty Boots
I'm currently looking to change my Disco2 & was looking for another Land Rover, my mechanic, who I've used for years & trust fully has suggested a Ranger - half the price, more reliable, cheaper if any thing did go wrong, bags of room etc ( & he has had one for the last 2 years trouble free.) Makes you wonder!
