Sha Bu Le
After quite a few vermin free months they have been spotted in next door left neighbours garden and yesterday my garden. Today seen two, but gun locked away by the time it was out they had gone. Out with the peanut butter and sread some on the paving slabs of my backstop expecting maybe to see one in 2/3 days........ Wrong..... 10 minutes a grey was on the butter whether he left this life with a yummy its good in my tummy smile cannot be determinied. 5 minutes later out comes another only to join his sibling in the void. Missed the next 2 excitement too much. It will settle down and I am now in hunt & destroy mode. Had to go to work so left it at around 17:00 Next door left neighbor was sitting on his back steps with a catapult!!! he's a good guy so can't really be a bitch. Sha Bu Le
Only saw one over the weekend but the furry little filthball was moved on. Now hows this for a tip:- about a year her indoors put a tray of birdfood and bread bits out on the ground. She also put some banan slices in to see if any birds would take eat them. No birds took them but a big buck swisher did, sat in the dish for several minutes eating them, was not going to share. Pity I was at work !! Put some banana out on Sunday....came in to talk to wifey went to back door in time to see ratty rat doing a runner with a piece of banana. WAited 10 mins and back he came. He was fairly treated and felt very little pain.....probably. Son saw another today sitting in the tupperware box I use to bait them munching away (or should that be squelching away on banana slice)s, he took a shot but has not used the HW90 before....missed. Drat.. Lighning repaired will pick it up on Saturday, shop says spring slipped off its guides and in their opinion it was due to the barrel not being fully locked?? Surely I would have felt something if this was the case. Shop says no I would not have. Any views anyone? ATB.. UKPoacher
Anytime now they'll be on the nuts and berries in the woods. Then as the autumn draws on they move to our pheasant feeders. It's my favourite time of year for air rifle shooing.

Sha Bu Le
Have not seen Mr ratty in my garden since Sunday gone, seen one in neighbours yesterday. However found out yesterday that two local toms have been spraying my baiting area, that could well explain it. Forgot to get some nutella, asked wifey to do it for me. Also forgot to mention got my Lightning back today, complete innards replaced. Re-zeroed and its back on form glad to say. Teal
Very little more satisfying than popping off a few scaley tails - good shooting and keep it at them
