Markio
Hi dunganick, I'm looking for an O/U too but possibly a Lanber. Maybe we could help each other out? What are the specs/details of your Lanber and how much would you want for it? P.S. Hi all, great forum, i'm registered as 'Mark' on shootingTalk if anyone frequents there. You'll prob see me hopping between the two!

Markio
Sounds very promising but i must say i was looking at £300. £350 with just two chokes might be a bit rich for me. Anyway i'd love to see some pics. Post 'em up as soon as you can mate. I'll tell you what i'm after: O/U Clay/pigeon/game gun, M/C, Single Select trigger, £300 to spend. P.S. i've not handled a Lanber before but if they feel like a Laurona then great. Thanks.
dunganick
2 sets of chokes mate, thats 6 plus 2 in the gun the gun is quite heavy as its a sporter, is setup with quite alot of drop at toe at the moment Edited April 29, 2006 by dunganick
Markio
Sorry, my mistake. I've looked at a Laurona today but that was too light @ 7lb 2oz (from memory). And sorry again but drop at toe? I'm new to shooting and my research so far hasn't covered that onw! Sorry to be dumb. Anyway, it's sounds very good so don't by shy with the photos! dunganick
dont worry about it, drop at toe is the amount the back of the stock slopes (put in v simple terms) more drop means you can look down the barrel flatter (good for someone with sloping sholders and a long neck like my self) (Doh! not drop at toe..... drop at heel ) Edited April 29, 2006 by dunganick
Markio
hahah, ok cool, thanks for clearing that one up. Well i've got a bit a slouch and fairly long neck too (5'11", or 6' standing up straight). This gun sounds even better. Keep me posted.

old rooster
Sorry, my mistake. I've looked at a Laurona today but that was too light @ 7lb 2oz (from memory). And sorry again but drop at toe? Are you planning to shoot 1,000 heavy cartridges a day through it ? If it fits you well and you aren't using daft loads it should be fine. You'll appreciate a lighter gun if walking over a few fields to shoot pigeons.
Markio
Very true, but i won't be buying that one as it was too much (£) for me. (EDIT: I mean i won't be buying the shop one). Edited April 30, 2006 by Markio

Markio
i have a lorona s/s vey good guns. I really liked it and it appeared looked after, but only had the two chokes that were already in the gun and it seems to me @ £360 it was a little over priced (or read that as a little out of my price range ).
