reggiegun
Got some bags of potatoes for the ducks, where's the best place to put them, in the water or on the land?
Dustem Dave
In the water (margins) we used to freeze ours first to make them go soft have also put them in the green waste bags and drove over them a few times in the truck!
ollie
Dustem's tip about freezing them to make them soft is good. However, what we do is we get a farmer to save us all his rotton potatoes and these get chopped up in a steel bucket with a spade. We also use crab apples as they are free and the ducks seem to like them.

decoy1979
In the tray around the duck works for me.
Alycidon
In shallow water with some barley. Dont put much on the land as it will attract rats, carp will clear any waste up. a
