sixhills 69
I would just like to let members know what i think about Third Eye Tactical's Sound mods. The First on i purchased was a rexlex over barrel type for my .223 and after having my cz527 barrel reduced to 18inches what a difference this sound mod made it is lighter than most and it does not seem to spoil the accuracey of the rifle and the sound reduction can defenatley be noticed. I then purchase the new 17 HMR over barrel (reflex) type and gain to notice the sound reduction i would say is better that any i have tried and on a 16ich barrel makes a differece i would recomend anyone that is looking for a new sound mod to check them out and see what you think. I am very happy with the amount of work an detail that has gone into the makeing of these mods and will be also lookig at his other products like scope mounts. i would be glad to here any other persons comments. regards Sixhills
apache
There was a thread on another forum with some members slating them. I was looking at a second hand one and spoke to the bloke who makes them, don't think he could have been more helpful. I was impressed by him that I am seriously thinking of getting one or two of them and giving it a go. I like the look and the fact they can be taken apart and cleaned. sixhills 69
i have to say i have not cleaned my 223 mod and it still is better than the T8 i had on it and a lot quiter. i one on my 17hmr the interals are tight so what i take of the outer cover i just wipe it i have had both for over 3 months and shoot at least 4x week and no problems, I will try to find the thread you are talking about. But If they were that bad there would be loads of threads. I would say you will not regret buying one. i would also like to say the quality of his work is second to none i have done a quick search on here and can not find anyone that slates the mans work. northernchris
The Third Eye Sparten is a very good mod, i supply/fit maybe 10-12 mods a month certainly 50% of them are Third Eye products the rest are either ASE Utra or Atec depending on the application. I have tried to contact them through a system they have offered, they have not bothered to respond, do you think I have any interest in busting a gut chasing them and trying to spend my money with someone who can't be bothered to respond to my questions. That makes a statement to me and it is NOT an encouraging one! There are several RFD's/Manufacturers that seldom if ever respond to email, that is APPALLING, if you can't be bothered with email then DO NOT LIST EMAIL CONTACT DETAILS. This is 2011, I am in business and I treat my clients or potential clients with respect, if Third Eye cannot be ***** to respond then they have lost a potential order, that's business, there are plenty of other suppliers! Too big for their boots by the sound of things, more important things to worry about than the odd moderator sale! Like it or not the customer is King, they may be a pain sometimes but they are what houses, feeds and clothes us!

Paddy Galore!
they do have a novel communication system it's called the PHONE! its good to talk. KW last time i spoke to them they were more than happy to help, i facilitated silpigs suppressor, we made a mistake and got the thread rate wrong, they sent another out asap, just posted the old one back after, no problems. remember, this side of their business is purely experimental, probably why the website is a little basic, their main business is motor racing. Paddy Galore!
If i have one gripe about 3rd eye tac, then it's because they've started selling direct to the public, i don't know how they get round the problems of making sure the mods get put on a ticket, it's just that their prices for the rimfire mods are £10 cheaper than the rrp stated on the trade price list, the profit margin isn't that big once this is considered.
