Chr15j
wat a shame just 45 quid think who ever got them medals had to for them good luck with sale hope they get a good home Agreed, selling them for so little does feel like your devaluing the achievement / sacrifice in having them awarded. Guilt trip not intentional!

robsmyth
I think I am correct in saying, all armed forces on active service for 28 days or more will receive the GSM ( general service medal )with Bars for any subsequent actions. crazyfrog
The NI GSM was issued for 28+ days in NI whilst on active, duty, obviously as NI no longer a problem (yeah right) then not issued now, I have NI GSM for a 6 month tour as East Tyrone Battalion in Dungannon. Also have Nato Peace Keeping Medal for a 90+ day tour of Bosnia. Both Medals are mine and will be passed down to my eldest son in my will, hopefully will not end up being sold ever they mean lots to me. I hope these ones you are selling go to a good home as someone received them for a reason, Best Regards
