New Toy

So, not done much shooting over the summer, all in all it's been a bit of a **** year, wife left (can’t decide if that’s a good thing or bad!), divorce going through, getting stitched as normal, gran dies, work manic every weekend (since harvest ironically) Discovery failed it's MOT so I’ve had nothing to drive that's capable of going anywhere remotely muddy, hence the lack of shooting.

But, game season is here, duck season is here, beating season is here, stalking is booked for local and Scotland, I think things are going to be ok and I’ve still managed to keep the dogs (4 legged variety, not 2!). I've got 3 weeks holiday to book between now and the end of Feb, that's lots of good driven days!

So I decided, time for a new toy, so I went from this:

to this:

.....now it's time to get back in the game - gotta love toys! I hope everyone enjoys the season as much as I intend to!

Good luck to all!

Very nice AB :good: Better christen it, so get bring it down to the farm and I'll fill the back up with bags of wheat and barley and we'll go feeding the pheasants and ducks  A better idea, wait a day or two until we've had a couple of hours of rain then introduce it to Northants version of the Somme :o

I keep encouraging to him to find a dirty blonde with big norks since his wife departed but he hasn't had much success, or so he tells me :sly:

I keep my eyes open Phil, but choice is pretty limited round here! And Phil, this time i'll take Terry's advice and keep clear of that forest track!

Nice car that mate!whats happened to the old disco?is it for sale?

It's gone mate, sold it a couple of weeks back, needed quite a bit of welding done to get it through an MOT.
