bakerboy
This is a sample menu, it will change in November with the main course being Pheasant/Partridge or similar. Option A Canapes, Crayfish Caviar on Blini, Whole Crayfish and Crayfish Tempura with Sweet Chilli sauce Starter Local cooked rabbit in filo paste, one slightly hot savoury the other tomato, garlic and herb Main Venison Pathia, local Venison slow cooked as a pathia with its sweet, hot, sauce soaked up with rice and Naan Dessert Elderberry Panacotta and Hazelnut biscuit, elderberries made into a slightly sweetened sauce and added with a mixture of cream and milk to make the panacotta served with a hazelnut biscuit. We can have all of this or a varient of, for £25.00 per head, in a private room, tight but fun, in the middle of Tewin village, bring your own alcohol, numbers limited to 20. Any night to suit our requirements. Option B Or we can have the same meal in a pub (Woolmer Green/ Little Wymondley or near by) but if we want it private, we would need 30 people, the cost would be slightly reduced £20-£22.00 per head, but have to buy the alcohol at pub prices. As I do not know how to put up a poll, I would need some help to put one up and find out which is preferred. Let me have your thoughts If we go Option A, perhaps we could have a Sloe Gin and/or varients of competition. I will stand a prize of a bottle of Champagne for the winner. bakerboy
Date dependant count me in, are partners invited? I have no problem with partners, but if we go option A there may not be many PW members there (only 10 if we all bring a partner) Edited October 7, 2011 by bakerboy
huffhuff
Hi Ben We can have any day/date we want. We just need to set up a poll somehow to find out what people would like. Not sure if you can add a poll retrospectively without the help of a mod (but I could be wrong)! When you start a new thread, you should get a 'Manage Poll' button at the top. So if it can't be added now, start a new thread, copy and paste the content but add the poll... then add a link to the new thread on this thread

Mungler
I voted "A". "B" is for bumming and I'm not from Suffolk. As for bringing your own booze (and home made gear), well that's a dangerous game to play, but yes, you're all in for a treat from Mungler's very own drinks cabinet.
