..well was until it came up against the WMR.

Got a call from a farmer who's youg boy had lost all his chickens,10 in total over a period of a week.So called up one night with the .22WMR and after 2 hours of nothing happening this fox showed about 350-400 yards away. After a squeak or two she came bounding up the field with the wind in her favour and decided to have a sit down and take in what was happening at 70 yards, big mistake on her behalf as a 30gr V-max was sent in her direction.

The outcome was a head shot and no more chickens lost. :good:

Well shot mate....how do you find the .22wmr for foxing??

I have one but not used it yet..

Rich.

Does the job at 100 yards and under,I personally wouldnt go beyond that as with the WMR I take headshots to try and ensure instant dispatch.

WMR is a very under estimated round and very capable of doing the job. This fox was had about an inch of spine/neck bone missing from the exit wound.

The rifle I use is a CZ455 Varmint and its feed on Hornady V-max 30gr which it will group at under an inch at 100 yards.

As long as your confident in how your's shoots and in your own ability with it you should be ok. :good:
