The Essex Hunter
I picked this sight at a boot sale some time ago; it came with the mount as well, so I grafted it on to my Dads .22. There is a pointer which comes down from the top of the sight inside. The adjustments are very simple and it unclips of the mount in a second. A bargain at £7.00! http://s856.photobucket.com/albums/ab130/TheEssexHunter/Army%20Sight%202011/?action=view¤t=STA60306.jpg TEH
ack-ack
The Essex bargain hunter strikes again. What would you expect to pay for it elsewhere? What make is it? Looks a bit military. Edited October 16, 2011 by ack-ack

Magus69
Kin ell that brings back memories it's a SUIT, "sight unit infantry trilux" forerunner to the SUSAT and was used on the L1A1 SLR. Mike...

The Essex Hunter
ok hands up those know what it is and does.?  Well I use it for rabbits, but I can see where it could be used in an urban area quite easily. You can pan around without that affect which comes with a scope, I guess because it does not have such a great magnification unlike a scope. Also the army lads would not have had such a small target like a rabbit! Going to try it out lamping as I recon it will be quite good.
