owl decoys

I've got the little owl decoy, and also the big European Eagle owl one, and, to be honest, I found them to be a waste of time. I have used the big decoy on fence posts where crows are flying near, and they have'nt even bothered to come near it.

I have heard of some people having luck with them though.

Steve.

They put plastic owls on buildings in London to deter the pigeons.

I work as london undergrounds pest controller, some stations have these, malden to name one, the ferals laugh at it, and **** on its head

one removed from woodford when we were replacing the netting I kept, have tried lofting it up a tree a few times, with crows decoys close by (also in tree's) and only once has it pulled the crows in, but yup, it does work, if you can get stuff cheap, so as not loosing too much if it dont work, Id say go for it, you'll only loose a few hours out at the most... :good:
