turbo33
I have been after a cheap sxs for a while to ramble round the farm and do a bit of roost shooting.I found a Aya Yeoman n/e last week, perfect. I spent a few days (because I can't not do it )re-blueing the barrels/action etc and then did did the whole bit on the wood finishing up with ccl oil. Only thing left was to give it an outing A quick call to the farm manager cleared the way, gun, pocket full of carts and the dog and I was away. I arrived at 3pm and had a bit of a wander round the wood looking for tell tale feathers and the other stuff on the ground. I had some cracking sport for 2 1/2 hours with some very high birds be over head. The dog was really good, homing in on the long droppers like an excocet Packed up at 5.30 with 9 pigeons and two crows. The dogs eyes are a bit mad in the photo
Whitebridges
Well done! Good read and nice photo. Keep up the good work. It's still a bit green in this neck of the woods, but the leaves are falling fast. With a bit of wind best sport in the world!

turbo33
Well done! Good read and nice photo. Keep up the good work. It's still a bit green in this neck of the woods, but the leaves are falling fast. With a bit of wind best sport in the world! Still plenty of leaf here WB. The larches were less well covered and that was the only area to be able to see them with some snap shooting. But as you say, the leaves are falling..won't be long
