kyska
Hi All, I've got hold of a Hawke scope, its ideal for an air rifle, but there is something wrong with it. The top turret has a lot of play in it, it still zeros, but you have to move it quarter of a turn or so before it clicks, there is two very small screws on the top of the turret, anyone know what these do or any ideas? Its not the end of the world if its broke.

I can see the reticles falling apart, or whole thing disintegrating in my hand, like a clown car.

kyska
lol its a hawk at the end of the day im no scope snob and only have MTC myself unlike some people with 1500 quid worth of swaro but its a hawk lol just sling it in the bin and go and buy another one for 20 quid brand new lol sorry. Thats not the point and thanks for the technical answer. Its perfectly servicable, I just want to fix it if I can for an air rifle. I am a scope 'snob' with swaro, its a simple problem I think, I'm not throwing it away. Thanks for the advice anyway. highseas
the two srews hold the marking plate? the wee plate with the white marks on it, onto the bit that makes it turn and ajust the zero. thats how you set zero then move the turret back to 0 or what ever
