deadeye ive
Looked at a anshulzt 1517 £465 yesterday and a CZ American £265 which I have to say to the untrained eye and to a complete novice looked and felt the better of the two Bet you lads thought I'd never say that . My question is as follows Can you get the .17 hmr version in Stainless Steel and Walnut I'm in the mood to strike soon as there is only so much a man can take .........Got to make the earache worth it somehow Regards
apbuild
Ive, At the price, the CZ is a great buy. I personally would reccomend the Varmint as it feels steadier to me. Any .17hmr will be accurate as is the nature of the little bullet. It is a tack driver! Anschutz have the reputation for style grace and superb target accuracy, but at a price. Rob. don't think you have the option of stainless barrel with the CZ. Rob.
deadeye ive
Rob. don't think you have the option of stainless barrel with the CZ. Rob. Looking at the back of this mag now ,Rob it shows a S/S and synthetic (STYLE) version of the ZKM 452 in .22lr and I was wandering if this version was now available in .17 hmr or Fingers crossed

caplock
Weather you want to polish it or use it in all conditions, you've got a good piece of kit, no doubt at a price that leaves a few bob over for some extra goodies. Mine has been a good bit of kit out of the box and any misses were down to me rather than the rifle. Enjoy... how much is abrick of 50 your way??....£7.40 round here......getting better! Cheers

I also think at times, its pot luck, what stock you end up with in the shop. You have obviously striked it lucky Ive, good man.

I have to say the stock on my 527 looked like something the people who make pallets rejected for being too plain I do admire nice bits of wood, and I have enjoyed making plain stocks better, but I am too clumsy to get into the whole gun love thing. That way if any of mine get damaged I am not going to loose any sleep over it. Fibreglass is the future for me
Frank
I think syntetic stocks from now on for me. That will be my 6.5 x 55, when i eventually get round to applying for it.

Ferretboy111
It means hornady magnum rimfire, and no its nothing like the 177. air rifle pellet. Its a rimfire rifle capable of speeds up to 2500 fps, very accurate and hard hitting, it a firearm. Hope this helps Alex
