Hi All!

I've often visited these forums and had many a question answered from other topics, so thought it about time I joined!

I'm from Cornwall - I have been shooting air rifles for years, mainly pigeons/rabbits, with a .177 falcon lighthunter (laminate stock single shot).

I've recently applied for my SGC - about a week and a half ago and am already bored of waiting!!

I fitted my cabinet last night (JFC 4) which was fun as I live in a timber frame house! Luckily I managed to find a wall stud that was in the same line as the floor joist in my upstairs built in wardrobe so I bolted some 3/4" marine ply to both the wall stud and floor joist and bolted my cabinet to this using coach bolts.

I am hoping this will pass the inspection (if I ever get one!!) which I am pretty confident it will as both the stud and joist should be classed as the fabric of the building?! Not only this but it isn't moving!! I cannot get it even to flinch! Maybe 16 coach bolts was a bit excessive?!?!? I'm sure you guys can give your thoughts on this?

Anyway, that's enough for now! Great to meet you all :)

All the best
