Davy Holt Posted November 20, 2011 Report Share Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Hiya, I finaly took up the offer and went up to a mates ground to experience a pheasant shoot, the plan was I would be doing beating most of the time but would get a shot as a walking gun. It didn't turn out that way though as I ended up as a walking gun on all of the 5 drives Although I had loads of opportunities at shots I limited myself to only taking what I thought to be the hardest, most sporting shots so as i result i only fired 8 shots but managed a brace The Final bag for 12 guns, 47 Pheasants, 6 mallard and 3 woodcock It was a cracking day out even though we had a slight misshap with the soup while driving up the track..
