wymberley
I would go the 2nd hand route, nice English/scottish boxlock for £1500 could get a tidy gun,I doubt over time you would lose any money on it.If your main reason against them is 'all have short stocks' are you a gorilla? Typical 14.5-15 stocks are the norm, what size do you need? I think the Ugartachea is a good looking gun, however if you buy new I do think you will lose 30% by taking it out of the shop...If you prefer foreign,AYA No 2? bit smart for rough shooting but within your budget 2nd hand? ATB. For the first paragraph. As you're walking up you don't want to keep crawling around the floor for the empties so do't need an ejector. Therefore, you've plenty of dosh for a good one. dougall
totally agree with Wymberley...non ejectors are ridiculously cheap relative, and unless hot seat driven shooting ejectors are overrated..indeed alot of people actually catch/block the ejectors with their hands anyway!! pigeon street
For walked up days and rough shooting i Like my 20b sbs. Cheap a bit rough itself but light fast to handle and as effective as a 12b
mushashi_miyamoto
Thanks everyone for the help. In then end I blew my budget and got an arrieta viscount (£200 cashback until end of Jan 2012). It just fit so perfectly and felt great I had to have it so I traded my silver pigeon. It is also very nice to look at with colour case hardening
