Iggy
Beautiful shots - well done. Is the 7D full frame? Those L lenses take some beating, the closest I have to one is the Canon 60mm macro.
docholiday
I love them, no 1 is the star for me, razor sharp and a beautiful background, well done, was this a wild bird? I have never had the chance to see them or photograph them, you have done a good job, I think the two eyes looking straight down the lens are more effective than the side on shots, but little to fault in any of them You are getting the most out of that 100-400mm any more thoughts on a prime? :good: Edited November 29, 2011 by docholiday
Fisherman Mike
Mike send me your e mail via PM any particular dimensions. GG Thanks for the pics GG...I must say the quality of your work is excellent and I look forward to seeing your posts. I used to write articles for a couple of birding and nature periodicals a few years back and have seen a lot of WL photos over the years ...yours are up there with the best of them. Keep the good work. ATB

A retired gent near to my village has started to care for injured owls. He only had these 3 at the time and when fully recovered will be returned to the wild. I put it to him about photographing the owls and putting any money generated to a local charity. A total of £100.00 was made as 4 photographers paid £25.00 each. The money was then donated to the Children’s Hospital Birmingham. Still saving for the prime I have informed the wife who has stated as soon as I have completed decorating and new carpet in the lounge and hall way. I may be allowed one which is a close yes with my better half. Regards GG Edited November 30, 2011 by GREENGRASS
