Just a quick message to say hi to everyone and that having a look around, it seems like there is much experience and banter flowing through the forums. It is reassuring to see that as a relatively new owner and sporting gun that if I have any questions that someone will probably have the answer.

A bit about my shooting;

I shoot clays when I get a chance in Cornwall and occassionally in Kent where family live. I have recently had the opportunity to go out with a friend who shoots on some fishing lakes for ducks. It is definately addictive once you have shot your first bird!

It would be good to hear about other shooting opportunities in Cornwall especially wildfowling as I am having difficulty finding information about wildfowling in Cornwall. I know that there is a syndicate/membership but details online are sketchy and nothing like other groups such as the Kent Wildfowlers.

I noticed a topic on guns meeting up in Cornwall to discuss shooting etc, that sounds a great idea, as I know that trying to find other like minded people to ask and go shooting with are not as often coming forward as one would hope.

So happy shooting, hope to post some questions soon and join in with some topics.Especially gun dog training as I am just about to advance my 18 month yellow lab to retrieving birds etc and introducing her to the field.

Thanks for now

Gary
