HDAV
Yep secondhad Beretta/Miroku/Browning that fits should be in budget there are lots of others Landers etc which you could buy new for that sort of money: http://www.gunwatch.co.uk/guns/2040-Beretta-686-for-sale If you want 28" MC with 3" chambers and HP steel proof it may take some searching 525 has all that but they tend to be £950-£1100 used http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/090207173924001 or http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/110619150953001 http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/111104135700001

HDAV
Check out used prices of new guns before buying, bettinsoli look great but read too many horror stories to buy one. Lanber good guns tad heavy for some
remy 700
All great advice above , some fantastic condition browning 425 at this money , non vented barrels so easy to clean and a great all rounder if 30 inch multi choke , I once had a beretta 686 special 28 inch multi these can be a bit cheaper but a superb gun , good luck , p.s do not underestimate a browning 325 you have to handle one to see what I mean , quality and bargain priced
OvEr_KiLL
lanbers dont hold there price if you want to sell it...do they? i would go for miroku/browning/beretta as they do hold their price
nabbers
I've had my Nikko 2500 for 20 years now and you can pick one up for £300, fab gun, can't fault it! I see dudes spending £3k on flashy guns that don't actually look that good and don't improve their shooting! If I sold mine I'd make a small profit!
