saggy61
Hi All In my line of work we only use factory loads only in our .243 and 7x57 and we have EMPTY cases and was wondering what the market value would be for these, They have only been fired ONCE and are Federal v-shok load brand. If any one would like to make offers or know the market value please let me know. Cheers Paul Edited December 7, 2011 by saggy61
cant hit rabbits 123
Wow, What IS your line of work? I'm not sure of the price for the case whole, but the metal could be sold in to a scrap metal dealer. highseas
slightly off topic but is the 7-57 the same as a .275 rigby?
fruitloop
pete lawman is doing new .243 at £25 per 100 to put in perspective he has some .223 new at £24 for 100 and once fired at £6 per
Vince Green
slightly off topic but is the 7-57 the same as a .275 rigby? Yes, the .275 Rigby is 7x57, a rather implausable attempt at rebranding on Rigbys part
Vince Green
Wow, What IS your line of work? I'm not sure of the price for the case whole, but the metal could be sold in to a scrap metal dealer. A lot of scrap dealers wont take cartridge cases because of the fear that they may contain a live round. Some will tell you they are not allowed to take them any more. I think that means the people they sell them to wont take them. When they do take them they give you peanuts for them. We used to weigh in sackloads of 7.62s but it was hardly worth the petrol to take them in the end. We sell lots to A Ford (0207 287 1628) or maybe HPS-TR might be interested. If not offer them on here in buy/sell or sell them on specialistauctions.co.uk Always somebody will want them. Normal market value of once fired reloadable cases is around 5p each Edited December 8, 2011 by Vince Green

saggy61
Hi Steve as in my first post I’m not sure the market value so I am open to good offers, I will have a look in the office tomorrow to see how many of what cal we have left as I know one of my work colleges has taken some .243 for his mate and we haven’t used the 7x57 that much this year as it is needing a new scope.
