eccles
Rapalas work great on the River Dovey for salmon and seatrout as do flying condoms
kent
Copper ABU toby, size and weight dependant of flow /depth. Fish it across and down as slow as possible without winding just following it round with the rod held up to allow the fish to turn on the take. Presentation is 100 times more important than the actual lure
Aled
The only spinner i've caught salmon on with any consistency is an Anglia Longue size 3 mepp bronze cast up and accross #and brought back in an arc. Like the Toby idea Kent, reminds me of how some of the old boys would spin with a Devon Minnow or Toby on the Tywi, using the early style of multiplier reel. woodcock1
Flying 'c' are very popular round here and account for a lot of fish but Im not a great fan. I have had some great success recently with a no.3 or 4 mepps comet. You will catch browns, seatrout and salmon on the one lure and you never know what its going to be next. I have rarely caught anything other than salmon with flying c's
