The only spinner i've caught salmon on with any consistency is an Anglia Longue size 3 mepp bronze cast up and accross #and brought back in an arc.

Like the Toby idea Kent, reminds me of how some of the old boys would spin with a Devon Minnow or Toby on the Tywi, using the early style of multiplier reel.

Flying 'c' are very popular round here and account for a lot of fish but Im not a great fan. I have had some great success recently with a no.3 or 4 mepps comet. You will catch browns, seatrout and salmon on the one lure and you never know what its going to be next. I have rarely caught anything other than salmon with flying c's
