matth12321
I'm looking for a decent wildfowling gun, preferably either semi-auto or a pump action. I had a quick look at a Winchester sxp in a local gun shop today and it seemed brilliant value for money! I was just wondering what peoples opinions are? Scully
Was looking at several today actually.Apparently they're made under license in Turkey.Shop owner said he sells a lot of them, but I have no experience of them. The new Baikel self loader looked impressive. Wildfowler12
My mate has one and I nearly bought one too. They're good value, but my mate, and 2 others who bought theirs from Malmo guns had to rerun theirs as they wouldn't eject 3' shells. Browning repaired it but it took him a few weeks to get it back. This put me off them so I paid the extra and got a supernova.
Mike525steel
I didn't think that the pumps absorbed much recoil though?.?
Dr_evil
SXP's have a decent recoil pad on them, never had a problem with mine Although I will bet getting a supernova soon
Fiblister
Got a SXP a few weeks ago, been impressed with it. Put quite a few 50g 3 inch shells through it with no problems ejecting or recoil. I took it clay shooting yesterday and found it to be pretty good. It seems like a good gun for the money.
