Frenchieboy
I was just passing the time on Youtube while cursing this constant wet weather and came across this video of someone called "Harry Nicolson" crow shooting in Surrey. I don't know where abouts in Surrey he is but he certainly isn't short of crows to shoot, and fair play to him he doesn't appear to miss many. If only the crows up my way were as obliging as they are for him!
Alycidon
Nice film, the guy can certainly use that 5 shot semi. Looks like first light, perhaps on a pig farm or similar or maybe flat wheat, certainly attracts a good headage. You novices note how he goes about the job, sited on a junction in flight lines, some coming from the front , others from the left hand side. dobbing down in the hide when there is nothing about then slowly coming up to take a shot, hide set within range of a nice sitty tree and open on one side. The light will help him as well, at that time of day as the birds will be hungry and a bit less cautious. A

Cranfield
Some good shooting. With the background noise on the video , I would guess he is shooting near a main road, or motorway. A friend shoots some land next to the M20 and the birds seem to ignore shots and movement. Perhaps its the continuous noise and movement from the road, which is very noticeable. A Not got as far as looking for permission myself, but thanks for taking time to point out how he is set up for better results And that's to the OP for posting
