wildfowlingmad
These were the result of two cracking consecutive flights in the wind last week. The most enjoyable shooting me and dad have ever had and we could have shot more birds the second evening but we dicided we'd had our share and left early. We both thought dad had got his firrst pink but when easting it i discovered (rather painfully as i crunched on it) a pellet! we were both using no3 and could have picked the same bird but i had steel he had bismouth, the shot was attracted to a magnet! does that mean it wasnt bismouth? i know steel was magnetic and it looks as though he's still waiting for his first! be great if someone could tell me wether it is or not! There have never been so many birds in our shed!

utectok
Have you noticed when shooting at a flock with a friend how you nearly always pick the same bird to shoot at.? Strange eh Oh and btw I'd not tell your dad might have just been a stray steel pellet ?
