turbo33
I have just had the vet to do the deed to my cocker :( I wondered what changes you had noticed in yours for those that have had it done especially if its a cocker? Ie energy levels, general behaviour, weight gain etc. Thanks. Edited January 18, 2012 by turbo33

unclestuffy
Other than the dog being a few ounces lighter - we had our springer chopped and he has not put any weight on at all, works really well and is not thinking about humping constantly :-) perhaps that is why I am under the threat of the knife :o

Cockermax
Got my Patterdale Terrier done at about 8 months as he kept disappearing after any bitch he could find. Stopped him doing that but he still goes after anything small & furry (Rabbits normally)
ferguson_tom
Had my collie done when he was 6 months old, he is about 11months now. It stopped him almost instantly running out the door when it was open or if he pushed it open. He didnt hump things very often but that has completely stopped. As for change in his character he is a bit more relaxed now and calmer but his actual personality has not changed he is still lively, quite an affectionate dog, very clever and wants to work.
