Frank
I was out this evening after Mr Fox and i did not get bit once. Got no fox though Saw one, but it walked right along the top of the hill, on the ridge and went the other way, even though i wistled with the fox whistle, typical.  Frank. He must've had a full belly Frank, looking for somewhere to sleep it off! Do you get a lot when it's bright out? Just wondering if a decoy would help in that situation. John This time of the year John, their out early, as the daylight is long. You could be right, a decoy might help, but on this particular farm, their was 2 dead sheep, waiting for collection, that have passed their sell by date  . So i think he was feesting on these and as you say, was full when i tryd to get him down off the ridge of the hill. I approached the carcasses earlier, but did not see him their, but seen sighns where they had been feeding on them. Ill get him in the end, but its a real chalange this one, i can tell you. Frank. Carcharadon
Been using this stuff for years, against midges it rates as my number one repellant, and although it isn't advertised as such by Avon, the reps know why people buy it. Always a bottle or two in this house.
JohnGalway
Every day since mine arrived in the post it's been quite windy, I call it the El Avon effect, similiar to El Nino. Not a midge to be seen never mind getting bitten, top marks John
