Scotland lost this game because they didn't take their chances, plus they made too many errors.

England for me didn't give a lot either but you can say they are a new team.

Not only that fella, but why Robinson started with a half back pairing of Cusiter and Parks is unbelievable.Cusiter must be one of the slowest distributing scrum halves in International rugby and Parks is way too erratic.Way too many mistakes and no matter how much possession you have if you cant do the basics you will be ****.Fair dues to England, for the new faces they done well defence and kept penalties to a minimum.Very poor game although second half it was exciting.

Enjoyed both games today. France for me only got into the game later on and won at a canter. Scotland were pitiful at times but for the mighty double D! Parks, I dont know where to start but, bleugh! I thought Cusiter was resonable?

I heard a quote today rings true and a couple I hold dear to my heart

1. Risk nothing, gain nothing, become nothing

2. I'd rather be lucky than good.

and

3. The harder you work the luckier you are.

No matter what happens, or is said now, the record books will say France and England. What will tomorrow hold? I can hardly wait!

Aye, you would have thought the coaches would have ironed out his passing from the base years ago ;) as the rest of his game is spot on.

Am looking forward to work on monday now  Thought Robshaw, Botha, Corbisero and Barrit were outstanding for England and tackled anything that moved - lucky? maybe but they hung in there and came through. Would have been good to see the Ashton splash just to annoy the locals  but you cant have everything can you  I still cant understand how Scotland blow so many chances - Gregor townsend must be thinking of getting his shirt on just to finish them off!

Finally it serves Robinson right for bringing out the "arrogant" English card - tiresome - even more so as he isn't even a Scot and the boys i knock around with up here hated him saying it let alone continually repeating it through the week - idiot!

British,(sorry, Scotish, Welsh, Irish and English, oh and cornish) folks talking about Rugby is like me talking about soccer (sorry football), aint got a clue, and the French rugby team are just a load of jammy people of questionable parentage. (well the Welsh and Irish have their moments, the Scots are infuriating to watch, all heart but no finish):rolleyes::rolleyes:

Bradley Davies for his red-card worthy tackle.

Ryan Jones was also just on the edge of shot punching an Irish player repeatedly no where near the ball when Ireland were looking like they might cross the try line. That incident seems to have been unnoticed.

Ill even it up with my neutral tinted specs and tell you to have a look at Donnacha Ryans cheap shot on Adam Jones.Somehow you have let that one go unnoticed too.And why cite Davies when the ref has dealt with it?I thought citing was for unnoticed incidents?

I stand corrected, but why shouldnt Ferris be cited too, even though it doesnt appear as bad as Davies.

The only citing will be the Bradley Davies incident!Possibly nothing will be said cos like Dave has said the referee has dealt with the matter.

He will be cited so there is a hearing in order for him to receive a ban of some sort. Sam Warburton got a three week ban, so he could expect longer.

I'm not sure what was wrong with Donnacha Ryan's bash on Adam Jones?

When he joined the ruck he should have had a bind of a kind, either with his own player or Jones when he hit him and no attempt as such was made to as far as im aware. It is a hard one to call as you see it happening in many games but its still a cheap shot.

True, by the letter they should bind, though it seems to be something that isn't refereed in the modern game.

Yep totally agree in my day if you got round the wrong side of a ruck or maul you either gor shoe'd or battered or worse of all you'd get ya ghoulies squeezed  Mind you there wasn't 6ft 6in 16 stone wingers then either - frightening :o

Thought George North and Jonathan Davies for Wales and Sean O'Brien for the Irish were outstanding. Great game and i fear the worst for my bunch if we show the flanks to these two teams like we did Scotland!
