pat g
Ok guys after a bit of info / advice here. My shooting wagon is a Grand Vitara on a 54 plate 5 door model. The tyre size is 235/60 /16 100h. I dont want to go down the road of changing wheel/ tyre size. I just want to keep the standard 16" Steel rims. Problem is there does,nt seem to be many off road tyres available in that size. A bit of research on net has revealed the Insa tyres and my local tyre fitting depot recommended these tyres as well. Are these any good? Any advice/info please guys. My shoot consists of some really muddy tracks and although i have never had a problem with the road tyres that are currently on the vehicle i feel that the grip will be vastly improved with some more serious rubber. Apparently i have the choice of the Insa turbo Dakar or the not so chunky Ranger. Which model do you think would best suit my needs. I'm a bit lost when it comes to tyres so all advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance ATB, Pat
shaun4860
Ask Nickbeardo what he thinks of his new tyres http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/brands/yokohama/geolandar-ats-go12?awinaffid=85386&awc=1244_1328812553_ff3acf5adfe248981098ee4a13f1a6e4 They do them in your size
JR1960
I've run Saharas off-road (and I mean proper off-road) and they're not bad. Don't seem to cut up especially, grip and clean reasonably well, can't really fault them for the price.

Sprinter
Got INSA Turbo Dakars on my Grand Vitara, will get you absolutely anywhere you need to go unless you are being really silly. Downside is that they are god awful noisy on the road Edited February 10, 2012 by Sprinter
