gixer1
I know in the scheme of things not a big deal but as some may know I've spent nights here and there over the last 6 months stripping and rebuilding a 1947 grey fergie with a Perkins P3.. .it's had new liners, pistons, main, big and small end bearings and has generally been a ****** to get info on as it is such an old variant....it was in every piece it would go into and today was a mile stone as I fired it up for the first time and got to drive it round my garden and leave it sitting ticking over... Not a big deal but a happy moment for me...now for the hydraulics!

ATB figgy Don't think it'll be worth what I spent but it was done out of the want for a grey fergie not as a money maker Thanks for the comments Regards, Gixer

gixer1
Jealous My sort of project that is. Bet she makes your eyes water when you drive her with that little chimney .... Had a bit of a glitch after running for half an hour, there was a bit of rust in the fuel pipes which got into the pump so that's got to get cleaned out ... :( Regards, Gixer
