mrjangles
ifyour only after rabbits then a . 22 is good enough. Yes but I find there's nothing finer than seeing the crimson mist 300 meters away when my hornady varmint bullet hits doing 4000 fps, mind you these reloads are fire formed neck sized chaps! il cacciatore
.22 is indeed good. Dont let the .17hmr crowd tell you any different. () Its silent with a moderator, is accurate and has a good range.
Bipolar
cheers all, all I have specified is vermin control, just popping out now for the rooks, they are such noisey barstools, keeps Mrs Bipolar awake!!
SPEEDY
I’m a big fan of the old .22 as it’s very cheap to practice with and effective on all small game.
Frank
Yes, the .22lr is deadly if used corectly and humanely with sound mod and subsonic ammo. See Sporting pictures section of my sucsess this morning. Its mainly a bunny round and should only be used on fox if you have the know how and ability to place the bullet accurately and cant use a centerfire in certain situations. Frank. dr_nick
I was advised to ask for 1200 to hold 1000 to buy, reason being for target shooting (keeping the same batch is important and discount from supplier, I asked for 2 x ,22 lr (one moderated reason outside target shooting, health and safety for the noise modderation, cant be damaging my ears, gun shop advice) I x competition. 1 x .177 air weapon 1 x .22 air weapon moderated. 1 x black powder pistol for s**ts and giggles. I was also advised to ask for everything I could as each variation costs money.
