Hamster
How did you get on hamster? Well I visualised a 98 , but unfortunately didn't even go. Got laid flat with a nasty cold that lasted three good days and wasn't well enough to risk wet weather. Gutted really but I think there is another qualifier at Detling in April so all is not lost. Only good bit of news is we've just got back from a 5 hour return drive to fetch our new puppy. :) :)
louis682
The next one is 18th march mate at abbey I believe. I only shot a 78 but it was a bit of fun as I knew I didn't have a chance for the team. Still all good and get well soon.

Catamong
Blimey, a selection shoot to make the County team, and that's in a County that doesn't have a single decent Reg Sporting Ground. In my County apathy prevails and the team manager really struggles to find enough volunteers for the team. They've even disbanded the County committee, so I hear, very sad. Cat.

So it comes down to the same old few doing the organising, and when they've had enough what can you expect? Herts county c'ttee are looking for one person to take on the Secretary's role. Hi Cat, hows things darn sarff !!!! , when i was at the helm in Essex, i was instruemental in having a selection shoot process to give everyone a fair crack of the whip to make the team & it does work. PhilR, Yep, i deff agree with your comments of the same old few doing it all, many years ago back in the 90's i remember that Herts had one of the strongest county commitees within the CPSA structure, various things, lifestyles & people change, thats the trouble with any volountry organisation....as we all know !!!
