dazza
I've been after another semi for a while now. Went to the dealer and he offered me a swap for my Browning Cynergy Sporter (as new) for a mint Beretta AL391 Teknys Stonecoat. What do you think? What do you think? think you are mad in the head. any cynergy i saw for sale lately has been round the 11/12oo mark.surely a 2nd hand beretta would n`t make that money. after a semi myself but i`m not for trading, will wait for a straight sale

You still got the comp n chokes? - got to worth £1200 with the adj stock etc any day of the week then walk in with cash and get even more off the gun so quids in all round. It's such a good gun I'm afraid to use it and get a scratch on it. Same as the day I got it from you, not a mark on it. It's just not getting the use it deserves. tweedledee
Very few clay guns are.stick it on gun trader and see if you can sell private or even on here for that matter.not too bad to send to rfd across the water

I'd rather go up to McCloy and do a one on one off and bring a gun home.
Dekers
I'm a bit confused, are you saying its great but you want to change it because you may damage it? A Mint AL391 Teknys Stonecoat is no slouch, will you not be concerned about that? Perhaps you should hang the Browning on the wall and just get an old Baikal MP153! dazza
I'm just not comfortable sitting in a hide with it and I don't shoot many clay's anymore.
dazza
Just had a look on Gun Trader. The same gun is going for between £1500 and £2000. Is this the same gun Dibs? Cynergy Edited March 4, 2012 by dazza
Zapp
It's tough. The Teknys Stonecoat says "I want to act straight, but dont mind sending a few signals", whereas the Cynergy is the rainbow flag of the shotgun world. If your gun has a wood stock then stick with it, it has all the subtlety of the Teknys without all the fiddly cleaning associated with an auto. If on the other hand it is the synthetic version then you'd have to buy a leather hat with chains to make up the difference.

Cynergy That's the one mate. Wise words by Zapp me thinks. It's the Pro Sport adjustable. Flagship model ie the top of the sporter range. dazza
I think I'm going to hold on to the Cynergy.
