Teague question....

Is your gun a retrofitted Teague gun or does it just have teague aftermarket chokes? if you are not sure have a look at one of the chokes - they all have Teague and the size laser etched on ( sometimes early ones are hand etched )and the choke fit if they are aftermarket (BR/Miroku, beretta etc)or the guns serial number if the teague chokes are retrofitted

If they are aftermarket you can fit whatever aftermarket chokes you wish to but its not so simple with a retrofitted gun. I have retrofitted Teague chokes in my B25. They do not have a standard external diameter as this changes to match the individual guns barrel dimensions. Hence to reorder extra chokes you have to quote the guns serial number and standard aftermarket chokes designed for a particlar manufacturers gun will not fit!

I was also going to ask you what you thought any other manufacturer could offer over and above a Teague choke? but then i looked again at your sponsors listed in your post and wondered if you are trolling :hmm:

Interesting :hmm: IF Muller are so great surely they can easily produce tubes to fit a teagued barrel...

Interesting side note like "Hoover" became ubiquitous for vacuum cleaner "teagued" has become ubiquitous for retrofitted multi-chokes. "Mullered" doesnt have quite the same ring to it...

I've just sent my gun for mullering? My guns just been mullered?

Thanks for your comments - thats interesting information for sure

No intentions of trolling at all - i've been asked if Muller Chokes will fit a currently Teague equipped gun so i'm merely attempting to find out for the owner.

Guess you're damned if you and damned if you don't with some of the PW Internet Police!

I think the answer is a resounding no unless you (muller) wanted to produce specials with square thread in varing outside diameter/wall thickness .
