I agree but nows the time to get out and watch the does then you will soon get to know which you can shoot and which you can't. If anything videos like mine should be seen as educational if you read the post as well it will often explain whats happening and why. Beretta28g Posted March 9, 2012 Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 Just out of interest did the buttle wack a rib or heafty bone or something? What bullet construction was it do you know? Ive seen deer drop like that with spine/neck/head shots and also with ballistic tipped body shots, but ive never seen a deer drop like that with a soft point body shot. I had a CWD the other day, and the bullet went through both front legs taking out a couple of ribs, and all the deer did was stand there for 3 seconds trying to work out that was happening, and when it saw me cycling the bolt it took off like a scalded cat accross the field, before keeling over mid run.
