Seriously, it must be great to keep on wildfowling, I hope he has plenty of years of sport to come

zab10
Zab, The gun in the first picture is a 3.5" chambered Zabala o/u is this gun the one that does a double discharge ? well done to your old man for still gettng out on the marsh as said above i hope im still out and about at
DOLLSEYES
Zab, No it's not the one that double discharge's, Although they did produce them, its a o/u,multichoke ss trigger 28" barrels,it's model is a century classic. The only other 3.5" chambered one i've seen is a test on a shooting site a few years back,(i think you can get the test on the net)Although there are plenty of 3" chambered ones on gun trader. Here's the link http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/guns/shotguns/126833/Zabala_Century_Classic_shotgun_review.html Edited March 31, 2012 by DOLLSEYES
zab10
nice gun , do you fire 3.5 inch cartridges out it ? if so hows the recoil i always fancied a double discharge one after getting rid of my 10 bore
DOLLSEYES
Yes mate, I fire 3.5" mammoths 42gramm steel or 3.5" winchester drylocks steel on the geese and no i don't really notice the felt recoil. It s a cracking marsh gun for the money, i think i paid £400 for it secondhand but it was like new. There's not much left of the blueing on the barrels now and will probally paint them. zab10
i heard stove paint is good for doing the barrels and i think its a cheap option too
