Guest Posted April 2, 2012 Report Share Posted April 2, 2012 Decided to take a blind trip out yesterday with my granddad so loaded the car up and shot off to see what we would meet... Spent a good couple of hours searching around without a single pigeon in sight! We were both rather disappointed and hadn't planned on taking so long so decided to set up on a field of spring barley that a mate of ours had shot 60 on the day before and hope for the best... Upon arrival we put about a couple dozen birds off the field but within seconds of setting up the birds came from nowhere and I managed to bag these 27 in a rather steady two hour session! Throughly enjoyed myself and so did my granddad who bagged 11 (not featured) but both considered ourselves to be extremely lucky to get one a piece let alone 27!
