ok all you vitara owners :lol: ,got the chance of a GV2000 x reg,60,000miles,mot till december and tax till june,6 owners 2ltr petrol auto,pros and cons,fuel consumption for an auto,please help me decide...probably looking at £1000 to £1100 to buy it. :good:

Litte bit thirsty but bulletproof jap reliability and real off road capability. Must have some service history with the Auto box though and manual would be preferred. :yes:

 

Saying that I and the wife have had 3 in the last 15 years and they really do go anywhere with the right boots on and the Low range 4WD is truly fantastic.

This one is a manual,cant drive it till hopefully tomorrow if insurance co are working,had a test drive and its great,was going to get it shod with insa rangers,and low and behold the 2 front ones are rangers,so only 2 to get,lol,tehre does seem to be a bit oil on the bottom of the engine and when we checked the oil it had been overfilled,so hopefully dropping the oil will sort it out,but its in mint condition,its mot"d till march 2013 and has 5 month tax,its the SE model too,all for £1300,but let you know how i get on with it...

wont be as juicy as your wagon mate,1600 wont be too bad,cant be any worse than the disco...going to investigate the oil leak a bit more though,but hey peter stew drove it back home for me and he likes it,so thats good enough for me,lol...get that back rested got loads of shooting mate.

I think "a chap from Aberdeen" explains a lot. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: The Vitara did to the LR what Honda motor bikes did to the likes of BSA etc
