BigBeater
Hi Could anyone tell me what this crop is? Do pigeon feed on it??? It is just a single field surrounded by the usual rape/wheat fields. Thanks Ben Edited April 22, 2012 by BigBeater
fenboy
Beans , no its unlikely there will be much on it now until its been harvested then and when it is drilled is the time to shoot beans , sometimes birds will feed on weeds etc between the beans though. b325
Think its beans .Probably wont get any pigeons on till just before harvest when they go black and a few start to fall out the pods. After harvest there will be a lot on the ground and the pigeons will go mad for them. You just have to hope the farmer doesent plough them in to soon.

Whitebridges
Looks like Broad bean or Fodder Bean of some sort. You can get excellent pigeon shooting on it at the right times.
