TaxiDriver
Does anyone have (to sell maybe?) or can tell me where to buy a tripod suitable for shooting off of when I'm sitting on the floor ? Preferably with a yoke on the top as opposed to a canvas strap. Taaa Muchly
12borejimbo
Ive got a set of deer hunter extendable sticks that I use for stalking and also sitting down. Pretty good, but you can make your own sticks for about £5 by using 2 green plastic coated garden cane, some road cable tied around the top and join the 2 together with a thick rubber ring/band so you can slide it up and down the sticks to adjust the height

steve_b_wales
You could get yourself a cheap camera tripod which folds down small. A Yoke can be made easily to fit into the top.
vole
Ebay have something like a camera tri pod. That extends to 26in but may need the silver finish sorting out . £18 . Looks sturdy . Going to get one myself .

The ones I have extend up and down. I use them all the time for sitting and standing.
Greenhunter
The camera tripod is a good solution. I used an anglers rod rest on the top with some foam taped on for extra padding. They are light and very adjustable for height. GH
mick miller
What's your budget? I've got a polecat tripod shooting stick set-up I almost never use (99% of my shooting is off a bipod or rail).

mick miller
It's the Stoney Point Polecat, which is on Uttings for £109.00 or so. I don't use it much at all. It's a tripod come shooting stick, you can remove the extra leg to turn it into shooting sticks. Take a look on Uttings website if you want to read more.
