It`s a spam advertising a porno link yet it got into my inbox,anything even remotely like a spam and even some proper E`s,go into my Norton anti-spam folder,the address is nothing like mine except for after @. new to the flock Posted July 23, 2006 Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 Henry when you find this out share as I have had this happen a bunch of times... it then packs the computer up with porn links and takes forever to clear it to where you can run an anti virus and spyware programs. Cranfield Posted July 23, 2006 Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 A lot of the Spam I receive is the same, where the address has little, or no, reference to my email address. Sometimes, I even receive it from versions of my own address. What is becoming more common, is the "maeler demon" emails, pretending to be reporting your undelivered email. I have Mailwasher, which sieves them all out and gives me a chance to read them, without "opening" them. Once you open Spam, the sender knows they have a "real" email address and it will get circulated. In a recent article I read about Spam, it said that most of it comes from Eastern Europe.
