Ferretboy111
Me and my mate went out last night for abit, it was only us two so we had one drive and one shoot, i drove on his farm and he drove on my shoot, all in all we shot 12 but a couple more we couldnt retreive and we got rained off aswell so could of had more on the fields we didnt lamp. The field where i shot the vixen near a small wood, i shot 7 i think from the same spots, they were running from the rape stubble to the wood, all shots were about 80-100 yrds from that field so we just stopped and kept shooting. My chest freezer once again is full with rabbits, hurra, ferrets can eat like kings and queens. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m317/fe...11/DVC00211.jpg

Try a cheap stanley knife ...........Extremely well done mate for getting a 10/22 to perform that good around 80 -100yds ..........What ammo are you using ? Deadeye ive, he was using his 17hmr for the 80-100 yarders, the 10/22 is mine and mine were shot at less than 60 yards. Im currently having a try with eley 40gr subs but usually use winnies. cheers

Ferretboy111
Aye just a knife for the gutting, but well if you have a .17hmr you know how much damage the ballistic tips do to rabbits even at 100 yrds, a few were already gutted already having shot them. No need to wash and ponce about with it, get it done and in the freezer asap before the flies get them. Alex
