WMR barrel wear .

I have heard conflicting info from 2 rfd,s . One says that barrel wear is not an issue with WMR , the other says it is . I hope to purchase a used one so would like to know . Google searches have not helped a great deal either . Cheers :good:

Barrel wear is an issue with any rifle. I'd say the WMR is going to be about as mild as you can get though and would expect it to take tens of thousands of rounds before it gave in.

 

Heat, pressure and speed seem to be the key factors to a barrel getting shot out. The WMR doesn't have a great deal of any of those things.

..... stop and think about it for a minute, a .22 copper coat travelling at 2200ft sec max, many slower! :hmm::hmm:
