mickmep
looking for opinions really. all will be in .177 flavour. looking for an airgun, had air arms in the past and always been happy with them. choice is between S200 plus 10 shot kit, S410 Carbine and S410 TDR. i appreciate the S200 is a bit cheaper, the two 410's come out roughly the same price by the time youve stuck a moderator on the carbine, the TDR comes with one. i'm drawn towards the TDR for the looks, probably wont ever break it down after its put together. it'll get used for a bit of pest control, back garden plinking and lsr target shooting at club. what do you guys and girls recon ? Sharpshooter.123
Without a doubt the s410 carbine.
-Mongrel-
Without a doubt the s410 carbine. Why the carbine over the TDR. Same gun in essence but for pest control the lighter TDR may be advantageous no?
Brad93
S410 carbone
Amazed
i have the s410f super light at the min and its a nice gun.i have always liked air arms pcps they are very good,but.... if i was going for an air gun again i would at least try a hw 100 on for size, they are deffo worth a look. before you set you heart on one get yourself to a few gunshops/clubs/ranges and try as many as you can. see what fits your style and purpose. i didnt try the tdr as i am not a fan of these take apart guns seems there is a lot that could go wrong to me. That exactly why I said the s410 carbine. Althought it's personal preference and There is some serious guns that can be had for a but more £££ I'd say try the hw100
toads
Hi, I had a TDR for couple of years, never missed a beat.I only wish it had more shots per charge.Never tried HW100 but the shear numbers sold cannot all be wrong, think you have to try and see what fits you, good luck. KFC
I got a LH AA S410k .177 last July and changed the stock for a green light hunter, which is ambi, so my Grandaughter can use it. I was out last night for a while. The place I went to has a pull off onto the field and I can sit with the windows down popping bunnies. There was no wind and I whacked two at 60yds with holdover. Both were smack on between eye and ear stone dead. It's really easy to use from a vehicle and I would recommend the S410K to anyone.
Farmer-of-the-Futre
My s410 carbine is faultless but a tdr may be a better choice for what you want
Dave410
Ive had my S410 .22 for about 8 years now bought second hand, so god knows how old it is, but has never let me down, only a few minor things which only needed a quick service to rectify
