kiffy
excuse my fairly newbie ignorance but is there really that much difference between clay carts that you can tell the difference in use?
dougall
The name Malmo came from the founder of the company - Malcolm Campbell (top bloke) - a mix of his name and his wife - Mal and Mo - if my memory serves me well. Malcolm is a thoroughly decent bloke and a good shot. It was nice to see the company taken over by a family of similar ilk. All top people. :good: :good: blimey he was pretty quick in a boat too......
Guest cookoff013
in all honesty, there is not much difference in quality of shells these days. they nearly all go bang and are really consistent. not in the old days like reckord and baikal cartridges. where bang-boom-phutt effects. all cartridges are made to a set budget. this includes labour, components, shipping, advertising, and other odd incidentals... take a budget clay load, 28gram 1300fps, thats as standard as standards go. soft lead, speed isnt pushing much, and its cheap. also would be advertised in weekly "sportermart / or claymisser weekly" then take a 32g game premium load, 1400fps, bigger shotsizes / harder antimony. faster shell, advertised in "richmansglossyhootingmag" bigger page adverts etc.. these are all worked into a final product.
