Rotary Advice

Having spent an enjoyable afternoon last Friday with Sprackles where we had 34 pigeons over peas my mind has been made up to purchase a Rotaty & a Turbo Flapper. The Turbo Flapper was an easy choice (A1 Decoys) but the Rotary isn't - I have narrowed it down to either the 1 you guys on here have talked about from the UK Shoot Warehouse or a Seeland 1 that Uttings have on offer - both are £99.00

Advise please............

Yesterday I had 41 over peas (new PB) with basic decoys BUT the difference the pigeons came was clearly notable I would imagine I could have easily doubled my final tally with a rotary & a flapper.

Both companies are great and offer exceptional after sales service.

I have no experience of the sealand rotary so cannot comment, but the shootwarehouse ones are well made and last.

Another +, Ukshootwarehouse offer a 5% discount on orders up to £100 and 10% on orders over £100, for Pigeon watch members.

The discount code can be found pinned at the top of the ''Sporting Videos'' section :good:

Going to order the UK Shoot Warehouse 1 with the Hypa flappers included in the morning along with a Turbo Flapper from A1 Decoys

Roll on Saturday - bet it rains

You COULD have doubled the tally. Sometimes a magnet or flapper isn't necessary. Though i use them a lot, using them doesn't guarantee success.

I am under no illusion that either or both of these items WILL give me bumper bags

But last Friday whilst shooting over Peas the Pigeons were very "Wary" until Sprackles joined me & added his Turbo Flapper & Rotary to my Decoys, after that they came in with confidence :hmm:

Also - has/does anyone use a Lithium 10ah battery with their Rotary ? If so how long does it last - I already have 1 of these & wonder if it will be ok to use it

Rotary's draw aproximately 2 amps per hour varying up or down depending on speed weight of dead or plastic decoys. So your battery should last up to 5 hours.

To summarise, divide the amps of the battery by 2 and that will tell you how many hours it should last.

Hope this helps.
